Shrove was formed in 1994 by Mike Conti and Dean LaVoie in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. Victor Chaves filled out the line up on Bass, and was later replaced by Mike’s younger brother, Scott Conti. Although the band eventually met its demise in 1997, they left behind this collection of recordings. Originally recorded to cassette tape on a Vestax 8-track recorder in various basements and rehearsal studios, and now digitized after sitting for almost 20 years in a crate of old tapes destined for the trash bin...
